How To Load An L Drum

Recommended Posts

Put your fingernails around the edge and your thumbs on the center and pull up it should pop off. Then place the rounds in the rails, close the lid, make sure it is lined up right. Put the key back on and wind it to the desired or specified clicks. And have fun. Takes five minutes to load, if you hurry, and 3.5 seconds to unload.

I am curious is there any special maintenence I need to be aware of for the drums?

Keep them rubbed down and well fed!

I believe that PK was offering a Drum Greaser. Wheather or not he still has any, I'm not aware. Just thought I'd pass this info along. Probably not a bad idea to have one around, and the cost was pretty low if I remebered correctly.

I just wash mine in my homemade CLP (also clean all my guns in this in a 6 gallon dunk tank) and let them drip dry.

Wipe off the excess and you're ready to rock! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
