Sometimes the 2 halves of the drum are very tightly held together, too. Just pull it apart after the key is off. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
full auto 45 Posted September 24, 2004 Report Share Posted September 24, 2004 Put your fingernails around the edge and your thumbs on the center and pull up it should pop off. Then place the rounds in the rails, close the lid, make sure it is lined up right. Put the key back on and wind it to the desired or specified clicks. And have fun. Now, it is in new condition and it still has a bit of cosmoline in it, I am going to clean it out and put a light coat of oil on it. john Posted September 24, 2004 Report Share Posted September 24, 2004 I just wash mine in my homemade CLP (also clean all my guns in this in a 6 gallon dunk tank) and let them drip dry.
