I'd say 8K or more right now. Last ones I saw were in the 7500 range, but that was a while ago. May depend on mfr. and what's included with it. You don't want a rewat? Do you know what that means with DD's? Will you be able to tell what's what even if you saw one and how DD's are created/ registered? That may dramatically affect pricing, availability, and transfers?

Sometimes in a tiny market with few sellers, beggars can't be choosers?

There are some options on gunbroker.

Few pics of the Kannar

Def simpler/cheaper to load your own chalk
with surplus components. Other options like beehive, cannon rounds, 12G adapter, etc.
are avail from Pace Defense aka www.reloadableshells.com

Just picked up a pirate barrel - should be fun!

I'd have to look up the range, but it's a lot longer. I've never "target" shot them, but with a rifled slug barrel I'm sure they're pretty good? Not so readily available anymore.....hoarders and all that.... Once word got out they seemed to dry up pretty fast and prices rose. At one point there was a semi trailer full of them, Then there wasn't. They started at less than .25 per tip, and quickly went up.

Not sure what's going on in the video, but the end result is similar in sound. I suspect the 14.5 has actual penetration as well as noise, but I've never walked that far to check, nor shot them at a "target".

Range is enough that the 3 second projectiles haven't landed yet without aiming at an extended muzzle elevation. There are 3 and 6 second delay, as well as a "on contact" detonating projectile.

Lots of info on the net about them. Some good, some bad. I would not do what is done in the video for a lot of reasons, there are better ways that were discussed 15 years ago when these came to market. HTH

I like the idea of an A2 burst gun, both the function and the roll mark. Any for sale out there?

I have an old factory full auto AR-15; wouldn't mind a burst marked gun to go with it.

Through 1967.... I'm sure more were made.
