The Model 55 is the same in as far as the internal workings are. The barrel is shorter, it lacks a compensator has a folding stock with a vertical rear grip running down from the stock at the rear of the gun. Cycle rate is the same as a Model 50, harder to shoot for a south paw from the shoulder based on the direction of the folding stock, a hoot to shoot from the hip. They are not easy to find as sellers and run 2-3k more than a model 50. Looking for one?

7k is way out and overpriced. If you want a Reising, get the Model 50 for around 2,500. Just a year ago, the Model 55's were selling for around 4k. They are harder to find than the 50s, but 100% mark up in a year, Please! Enough already, the guy can keep his 55 with the rust and no mag!
