Jbird
I have 1927A1 with the serial number so 136XX. According to the chart at the top of the forum it was made in 1984. It is misfiring and when you pull the trigger it clicks but the firing pin never impacts the primer. He put a new firing pin in it and after trying it out it still does the same thing. He thinks it is a disconnector problem but he could not get parts. I want to have someone familiar with it do the repairs. According to kahr website they do not service anything prior to 1999. Any recommendations on who to send it to or should I try another local smith? From reading on it it sounds like he might need to grind down the firing pin? This is way outside of what I am comfortable doing. Thanks in advance

peter kohler
you need to talk to dan about a few upgrades . mag catch modification for using real gi mags, ezpull springs, and the selector switch to hold the bolt open for easy drum installation and removal. Jbird
Thanks for the input Peter. I will for sure ask him about these upgrades as well as anything else he might suggest.
