M1A1 Ejector Removal

Recommended Posts

I know this has been discussed before and I do not have my Thompson yet but what is the process for removal of the Ejector? I have seen a few manuals( Distorted pics) but I can not locate a video on it. Thank you in advance! Oops also forgot and the removal process for the "Frame latch"? again thank you to all in advance.

Not sure why you want to remove either of these items. I would advise you leave them alone unless

they are broken. But send me a PM and I can advise how to do both.

Its being torn down for a refinish. For you purists out there wondering why! its because it must be done!

Hi All,

I use an old credit card.

I'm liking the feeler gauge method. Normally they have no sharp edges and you don't move the feeler gauge when sliding over it.

Love this board.

Always learning,

ps. Still do this for my JAC and Merrel kits.
