I just lightly spray with WD-40 after shooting and wipe off the inside and outside of the comp. I only shoot Federal Red Eagle JHP's which are very clean, reliable and feed in any .45 gun I have and results in very little residue. I have some out in the shop, but I'm too lazy to get out there now) Anyway, works real good! However, DON'T let this stuff touch your wood. Can ruin the finish.
