HHollow
WTK any information on Paul Van Hee, Grosse Pointe Michigan, NFA collector back in the 1960's and 70's. I am specifically interested in conversing with anyone familiar with the content of Paul van Hee's fireams collection. The reason for this interest is that I have come upon a rare Armalite prototype semi-auto that has apparently been in Michigan since the 1960's. I believe that only someone like Paul Van Hee had the connections and other mojo to obtain such a gun from Armalite. The gun came from an estate so my options are limited. I can not fathom that anyone from the reconstituted Armalite company would have any helpful information.
bmarvin
It may be worth it it reach out to Reed (or Trey) Knight at Knight's Armament. Reed has a lot of prototype Armalites in his collection
HHollow
I am primarily interested in conversing with anyone familiar with Paul Van Hee's former collection. The goal being to determine whether my gun was from that estate. Knight was informed when I bought the gun.
