TOMMY SMG
I think you guys will like this: The History Channel will be rerunning "GANGSTER CARS" on Wed., Aug. 31st @ 10PM E.T., // Thurs., Sept. 1st @ 2 AM E.T. and then on Wed., Sept. 14th @ 8 AM E.T. Watched this show about 7 wks ago and have been waiting for them to reschedule it to run before I shared this with you. Some of you may have seen it, if so chime-in. It's "Automaniac" and hosted by pro wresting and feature film star "Bill Goldberg". He shows the old time cars that gangsters like Al Capone, John Dillinger, John Gotti, Bonnie and Clide used to get away from the cops. He does a nice job of showing the unusual vehicles that were built for the gangsters. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif And shows lots of Thompsons. I think Bill Goldberg really likes the Thompson SMG, because he talks about it for quite some time. He even rides on the sideboards of one of the gangster cars, dumping a "L" drum. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif He unloads more then one drum in this show. ( Looks like he's having some fun filming this one.) Shows lots of different clips from the early days, like an FBI training class and drive-by shootings. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif Mark it down on the calander and enjoy. (I enjoyed it so much, I order the DVD from the History Channel.) See Ya, Jim http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif
