larryhymer
It was mounted in an earley 28 Savage. The other rocker is from a ww2 savage 28, with the S. They are different in shape..
Sig
My first reaction is that is a WWII rocker. The photo on the right on the top row the top rocker appears to have a faint stamp, an S for Savage vs a square S on the other for Stevens, not sure?More to my first reaction is Colt era rockers where made "in the white", many references incorrectly say "nickeled". "In the White" is simply unfinished. The top rocker appears to have a finish on it which is what I mostly based my reaction on. YMMV
