Roland, Headless Thompson Gunner
You left out the caption, "All the Thompson's you can carry, 100 quid" Roland I
full auto 45
With the smile, his eyes closed and the way he is holding the barrel of that gun, I would say he really likes the feel of a Thompson.
snipershot1944
He's smiling because he is holding $150,000 of Thompsons on today's market. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif
ACARLG
Caption should read: "I visited Dunkirk and all I got where these Gangster Guns!"
Sgt
I'd say those chaps have to keep a stiff upper lip. It would be in bad form, indeed, for the good Britisher to show too much glee. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif Thanks for the great picture! Ron Mills
That pic is also in American Thunder, I forget which volume. The humorous one is the pic of the poor guy loading drums by candlelight, in American Thunder II. It looks like someone sneaked up on him with the camera and he wasn't happy about either that or loading the pile of drums!
Norm
I wonder why this Thompson has the front grip off? Maybe getting ready for some gunsmithing? Someone cocked the gun and left it like that. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y204/mbsennett1/1941-tompsons-lend_lease.jpg
Ron Mills
Good point, fellas. I see the gun behind is also sans foregrip. Buttstocks off too. Time for their own mounting (swivels that is...wink!).
