Speeddemon02
As far as I'm aware there are no transferable Beretta 93R in the US for those without an FFL with add-ons
bmarvin
Ask Frank G. He has one for sale.
Speeddemon02
55k sounds about right i guess. the last one i heard of was 30k and that was SOT only. I heard there might be conversion kits for the 92 model not sure how accurate this is or how many. bmarvin
Dan Shea had a transferable Taurus for sale 15-20 years ago and it was high teens or 20k back then Edited September 26, 2013 by bmarvin
darrylta
When Frank told me it was 55K, I was a lot surprised. I guess I was looking at it in Uzi terms, I think their full auto .380 machine pistol is more to my liking. Thanks for the comments,Darryl
rcpd34
If you're an 07/02, you can convert a 92 with a kit for about $350. It is plug & play with no permanent alterations to the gun. The factory safety is replaced. I did a similar conversion to a Glock 17. Not quite an 18, but close enough for a couple hundred bucks.
brazos609
A pre-sample factory Beretta 93R is about a $12,000 gun. The transferable 93R clones were built using factory 93R parts on SOT made frames. Speculation on the price for the transferable clones would be $50-100,000. Big Al
According to this thread on AR15.com: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/926598_.html&page=1%EF%BF%BD there are 6 (7 if you count the titanium one) transferable 93Rs built by David Boatman. mattnh
Frank G. sold a transferable last year on Gunbroker. I forget what it sold for, but I recall being pretty surprised at the numberof bidders who jumped in right at the end AND shocked at the final price... Bonus video to get your 93-R fix, lol...
