Paul s
Whats the function of the small rectangle knurled button on left side of buffer ? Dont know how to post pic?🤔
Black River Militaria CII
The small button with the screw in the center is the retainer for the cap of the buffer assembly which unscrews. If the small screw in the center of the button is backed out about half way, the button will slide backwards disengaging it's front end from the cutout in the cap. Then the cap can be unscrewed. No reason to unscrew thecap unless there is an obvious problem with the buffer spring. If the screw is loose, back it out, clean it and the threaded hole with a degreaser and Locktite the screw.......
