Friends I come to you today with a heavy heart. We lost one of our very own members of many years and major contributor to the knowledge base of the BM59 forum. Member MRJ'd wife notified me of his recent passing on Dec 22. Please keep his wife in your prayers as she mourns his passing.

His posts and knowledge will sorely be missed around here.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mike in Southern Indiana ,we went to a State range and fired a few rounds out of a couple of his built BM59's that were converted by a gunsmith . We then traveled down and met the gunsmith that built the rifles , which were perfect in everyway . I feel truley blessed to have crossed his path, he was a great man and helped many like myself with answers to questions about our beloved BM59.

He even copied his collection of magazine articles from the 1960's to prsent day on the BM59's and mailed them to me .
