John Jr
Knob Creek conflicts with hunting seasons both times of the year. I will never get to go. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif
sten guy
Everyone in this hobby should go to Knob Creek one time. The first time usually "hooks" you. I am an avid hunter, but not during those two weekends. The tripto the creek is as much fun as being there. Sten

Waffen Und Bier
JT, I sometimes go with Greg Fox, but these damn hurricanes are keeping me down on the farm this fall (sorry Greg). April 2005 would be my 5th anniversary for the Creek and I would like to go for my 6th time. Thompson parts are hit and miss. Sarco (parts are greasy, nasty and overpriced - and sometimes copies). Northridge and IMA sometimes have parts. The people between Landies / Ohio Ord and Paragon (Keystone?) have parts. Someone next to LMO/ Dan Shea going towards Kent Lamont has parts (reasonable). There's a gent on the inside endcap near Dennis Todd who has some parts. Galati in the new pole barn sometimes has mags. I've gotten a ton of extractors, patent date mags (used to mint), a Canadian proofed and top mounted swivel M1A1 buttstock, an M1 bolt, and various other items for very reasonable prices at the Creek. I like the Creek for picking out good parts. Get there early.

Best of luck getting everything back (got hit with a tornator a couple years ago ... is a real pain trying to patch everything back ...). Thanks for the list ... been going since the 90's (back when there was nearly as much explosives in the camp ground as the main line ... ) running through my mind all the "funny" items from past shows ... which were things like M1 bolts http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif

1921A
JTinIn Damn, a fellow Hoosier! I'm from Fort Wayne originally. By the way do you know why wheel barrows were invented - to teach Hoosiers to walk up right. Stop by my tables B7-9. We can talk Thompsons. 1921A
Joe Geez - another Hoosier! from your user name I envision a military jeep in the wood pile! I have an M38A1 and an uncircumcised M151A1. Love 'em but they are a pain in the butt - gettin to old to climb in and out of the darn things. . Hoping to find gun racks and other jeep goodies at KCR next week. Stop by my tables and we can talk Thompsons and jeeps! Greg Fox
