I ordered 2 just to try out. Taiwanese magazines supposedly works fine. I know Numrich GPC magazines are Taiwanese and they work great.

I did run the scam checker on their website and it said it was valid..

Update:

Wow.. they have a tracking # for it already.. I'll post photos when I get it. Shipped USPS so if they drop it off soon, I should have it by the end of the week. I'll compare it to my other Taiwanese drum which I know works.

Cool. Let us know! I had 3 of the new "Taiwan" drums, got from Sarco when they were on sale but sold 'em off. Enough grease on the drums to lube a U-joint on a small car LOL.

Looks like they changed the labeling a bit, only 2 lines instead of 3 now; I guess that's what made me go Hmm.

I BOUGHT 10 OF THEM FROM SARCO ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO. THESE HAD THE WORD THOMPSON MILLED OFF. I USED 3 OF THEM WITH NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. I GREASED ALL OF THEM BEFORE THE 3 WENT TO THE RANGE. I PUT THE REST BACK IN THEIR BOXES AND THEY HAVE SAT ON A SHELF EVER SINCE. I ALSO BOUGHT A 100 ROUNDER IN 1966 FROM INTERARMS AND IT IS STILL IN THE BOX, I ALSO BOUGHT A 100 RD. FROM SARCO A FEW YEARS BACK AND IT RAN PERFECT. I DID HAVE TO GREASE IT FIRST.

Wow.. That was super fast. I got them yesterday.

Very audible click. Strong spring.

Haven't had a chance to do any shooting (which will be a while)

Is there anything I should look at to give you guys more info?

I took a photo of it next to my Numrich GPC DRUM (right side)

Definitely interesting that the writing is two lines vs multi lines like the OP pointed out.

I got one several weeks ago. It looks just tile my other Taiwanese drum that I got several years ago. I took it to the range today. I fired 150 rounds thru it. 3 drum fulls. I had 1 ammo related failure and one failure to extract. I am not sure what caused the failure to extract. But I am inclined to blame the ammo, not the drum. The ammo is some I reload myself and I have no idea how many times some of the brass as been reloaded. I think if I had any doubts about the drum, I would take it out with some GI Ball and try it. But I am completely happy with the drum. I am not sure how many times you should load and fire a drum to declare it completely reliable, but I do not think I will ever use it for anything but enjoyment at the range, so I am going to call it good.

Late reply.. but yesterday I finally ran one of the drums.. and it ran flawlessly. Full dumps without issues. My 30rd magazines were giving me more issues than the drum. Did a few dumps with them. They seem decently durable.. my friend dropped a full drum and it still ran fine with the dent. :angry2: I forgave my friend.. If it was a Colt drum.. well.. :o

Sadly they are 50% more expensive.. but at $150, I still find that a great price.
