Semi wannabe sub guns - value?

Recommended Posts

Bought these decades ago when real FAs were a wishful dream. Now need safe space. One is an Eagle Arms (Stratford CT) 45 ACP with M3 style bolt. The other is a S & W 76 clone labeled Special Weapons SW760 9mm Pine, AZ. It has a 16 1/2 barrel, presumably to be sold as a rifle. Does anyone have sources of information on these? Ive found out some facts about the .45 but not the 760 as yet. Theyll go on Gunbroker soon - and make space for my imprisoned 1921 Thompson.

A bit more info: the 768 is closed bolt, with a folding stock. Found several posts about these, disparaging to say the least. And the serial # is either illegible or never inscribed. I won’t embarrass myself by saying what I paid for it....

The Eagle Arms is just a slightly redesigned copy of the Spitfire Carbine.....the trigger/safety was changed just enough to prevent it from being reclassified as an NFA weapon.

The SW-760 was put together by Todd Bailey / Special Weapons about 15 years ago...….kind of a copy of the Semi MK-760. I think SW relocated the extractor in their bolts…..so MK760 parts might not interchange. Their overall fit/finish/function were sub-par...…..maybe a 600-800.00 gun ??
