Asking Price Of Usgi '28s - Anyone Have A History?

Have not been watching the price on the Thomson's for the last few years. Now that starting to think about one to shoot with the son - was wondering if anyone has been tracking the asking price over the last half year or so .... and would be willing to share on line or off.

 

Looking like a WH is a dozen thousand and the non-Colt USGI are still someplace in the teens (at least earlier in the week http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif

Was along the lines of what I was thinking (had not figured to see many WTS adds for budget prices Thomson's around here .... LOL!).

 

Heard that there was a USGI '28 this spring at the Indy 1500 ... for a few cents under ten ... lasted about as long as it took someone to walk by the table with money, from what I heard.

 

Appreciate everyone's help and bringing me up todate after eight years wasted playing with eurotrash and wonder aluminum http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/dry.gif (Actually like the modern HKs and Colts ).

 

For the time being, will have to get by borrowing '28 during outings (always bring couple hundred rounds of 45 to shoot .... drum for me and drum for the guns owner) or shoot the poor Reising (it is getting close to being traded for an upgrade and I have not even got sing off yet ... LOL!)..
