Norm
Well everybody, after almost two years, the magic moment should soon arrive. PK has shipped my Thompson to me and it is in transit to me at this very moment. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif This is the full-auto 27A1 project that was started in 2003! It uses the Broadhead Armory conversion pin allow full-auto fire. It features a custom 27A1 receiver made (80%) by Doug Richardson and finished out by PK. Also, it is a selectfire weapon; not just full auto only. People that have helped this project come about are (in alphabetical order): Dan (Deerslayer), Dave Janowski, Damon (Tommygunner), Devlin (Lionhart), Doug Richardson, Gordon (Gordoncolt), Merle (THE drum man!), Nick Iannamico (for the board!) Paul (PK), Ronald (colt21a), and COUNTLESS others who have given me advise, steered me towards parts sources, and just given me support when I needed it. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif I would like to think that this gun would be the "Machine Gun Books TSMG." Except for the registered Broadhead Armory conversion pin and small parts such as springs, EVERY PART OF THIS GUN WAS BUILT BY MEMBERS OF THIS BOARD; not by Colt, AO, Savage, WH, or Kahr. I will give a range update as soon as possible. It may be a little while because I am only one week away from going back to Ukraine to bring my fiancée back to America, I am staring a job transfer in the face, and just last night a wanted criminal totaled (probably) my car. I have a lot going on right now. I WILL get pictures posted! Again, thanks to everyone involved; you should be proud. You turned nasty looking firing pin into gorgeous gun! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif Norm
LIONHART
NORM, It's been a pleasure corresponding and helping you throughout this entire project. I know that all the others for whom you listed also feel the same way. Many congratulations my Friend, and I'm sure you'll have many favorable outings with your Thompson! I cannot wait until I see that transformation! Must be a beauty for sure. Thank you again NORM, and feel free to drop me an email anytime..Best Always, Devlin.
