Kilroy
Does anyone have an idea where to start the Redfield rear sight on the M65 for say 50 yards? Id like to have a rough starting point before I go shooting and pull my hair out fiddling with the sight.
StrangeRanger
Pop the guts out of the back of the receiver and bore sight it?
Bridgeport28A1
Shoot it at 25 yards first, you will likely be on paper at 25 yards.
Kilroy
Unfortunately the range I go it is fixed at either 50 or 200 yards. The rear sight is set right in the middle for elevation, I dont know what kind of range that sets me up for? emmagee1917
Just pick out a rock or dirt clod at 50yds with a lot of space around it . Shoot from the bench with a rest . Should take less than a mag to get close / on . Then switch to the paper to fine tune .chris

emmagee1917
This is actualy very little help . You can loosen the two screws and move the plate quite a bit . The object is to look at the ballistic chart for the round you are using , then sight it in where you want , then set the plate to zero , then adjust your # of minutes from there to the distance you're shooting at ( different from your sight in range ) .Chris
