If it's not fractured anywhere, then it's probably a good spare. If you ever have to use this spare, it will likely require some fitting. You are mostly interested in the area between the notch that the action bar rides in and the hole for the crosspin that retains the firing pin. If it is going to crack, that is the most likely spot.
