full auto 45
That's almost too fast. Maybe it's the new computer systems!
Walter63a
Well, at least I'm not the only one thinking that it was incredibly fast. Could it have something to do with the fact that you are still active in the military, USMC-2-USN?

SecondAmend
I have been informed that the speed at which the forms are processed is related to the ATF Examiner associated to the seller/transferror. Thus, how fast the paperwork goes (after the one week wait for the check or moneyorder to clear) depends on who you buy from and not who you are. Anyone able to confirm or refute? And that is a very nice looking Thompson. Happy noise making!
USMC-2-USN
That is true, the examiner is assigned based upon the sellers last name. To some extent it does depend on who you are...if you call up the examiner and get chummy with him or her or you have alot of previous transfers sometimes they can use old fingerprint cards or do a cursory approval Good luck Range report in a few hours!
