mitchell6776
New to this board, and I'm glad I found it. I have a live lewis gun that has a bent front sight protector ear. Does anyone have a dewat with a nice band they would be willing to part with for my band as well as some cash? I'm willing to pay a premium, within reason. Or- does anyone have an idea how to get this straightened without damaging it? I have a spare bipod I could throw in that is in nice shape to sweeten the deal. Thanks! Black River Militaria CII
I can straighten the ear or ears if you need help. Done ears on lots of MGs over the years. Just to clarify, the band connects the rear shroud to the front shroud, and doesn't contact the radiator... mitchell6776
Bob, Yes. The band connects the front and rear shrouds. That would be great if you can repair it. I sent you an email. Thanks
