Question About Off Topic Gun

Recommended Posts

H_Joe,...I had mine in both calibers,9mm and 45.,since the very day Jim & John split. So I was caught in the middle of their little spat and never received the operators manual til Burgess sent it much later. Mine didn`t work well out of the box,but I sent it to Stemple and he tuned it with a 2 week turn around time. It is a decent subgun for the price I paid...$1350.00+ 9mm conversion+shipping. If you find one and it doesn`t perform I believe John Stemple can fix it,good luck and post a range report... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif

A friend had one in .45 cal. To say it was finnicky and particular about the ammo you fed it was a GROSS understatement. It didn't like any cheap ammo at all. No PMC, no S&B, no Wolf, no Aguila, no American Eagle OR Federal, no Winchester White Box......in fact all it seemed to like was Remington (the expensive stuff, not the Mil. Spec).

We tried all sorts of ammo and experienced jam after jam after jam!! But with the Remington it ran flawlessly.

Well I bought one anyway http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif , He says it runs fine with Wolf ammo and has 7 mags with it. I got him to pay the first transfer and got it at a fairly decent price I think.... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

Very nice Joe!...these are good to tinker with...this one appears to be an early design with folding stock...mine has the grease gun slide stock...and if you ever get tired of it,I think you can send it to BRP and turn it into Ppsh with a drum...some cool options to think about... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
