Wwii War Bond Poster On Ebay

Recommended Posts

OUCH!

Kinda pricey, but I guess it's worth that if a person collects originals.....

BUT I DO like that picture!!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif

Anyone know if any of these old posters are being reproduced??

Not cheap but high quality lithos....

Reproductions of these posters? Yes, I've seen and bought a few myself, including the "Back the Attack" poster. The National D-Day Museum in New Orleans has a pretty decent selection of reprints as does the Virginia War Museum in Newport News, VA. (It's been quite a few years since I've been to it, but IIRC, the Imperial War Museum in London also has a good selection of poster reprints.) Both have some of the posters listed on their web site. I don't believe the VA War Museum has a hard-copy catalogue, but I know the National D-Day Museum does, and the selection in the hard-copy catalogue is much more extensive than what is listed on their web page.
