huggytree
bulged barrel
Thompsonlover
I saw that. So that would stop you from buying it? With so few in the registry, a barrel change isn't a big deal in my opinion.
Mike Hammer
A 28% buyers premium, are you kidding me. MH
huggytree
Can you find a black painted barrel to match ?? Or would you shout a mismatch park barrel and save the bulged barrel for resale ? The last one of these sold at $21,000 With a bad barrel how much would you deduct? These auctions are always nutty. Ill bet it sells $25-27+ with premium. If I could get it for $19 Id bid Id rather wait for another without the flaw
StrangeRanger
Indy ordnance wants $250 for a barrel; I know they have issues but nothing that can't be fixed. Screw the bulged barrel on when it's a display piece, swap to the retro barrel when shooting. Problem solved. But 28% buyer's premium sucks...bigly
Got Uzi
Black stove paint is the match and original barrels can be had for $250. Why is it there is always an issue with every single gun you seem to look at?? I wouldnt give a damn about the bulged barrel as long as the receiver is fine
huggytree
people sell their junk off They keep the good stuff Every 74 year old gun does have a problem I dont like paying full price for a lesser gun. Got Uzi
So you want to buy junk guns but you have issues with little details, so if you want the good stuff then you should just pay the full market and quit looking for deals
huggytree
ive paid full price from the top dealer and still had issues I very much wanted the MWT GG...in the end i felt it was a perfect example from WW2...i had no issue with it once i learned more about it....
