Value of Item for Bill Helmer - MGC Toy M11 .380

Recommended Posts

This is not directly Thompson related, but I'm asking this question for Bill Helmer, author of "The Gun That Made The Twenties Roar."

Bill has a vintage (circa 1972) MGC toy MAC-11 .380, NOS, that he would like to sell, but he and I have no idea of value. I guess this item saw very limited importation, I believe by Tom Nelson, in the early 1970's. It fires special cartridges fully automatically, but cannot fire regular rounds. There is no projectile fired. I have not seen this item in person. I only have the following photos. If you are interested in making an offer, or you have any suggestions of value, please post here, or contact me, and I will put you in touch with Bill.

David,

The early MGC Thompsons hover around the $400-500 mark and I've seen those MACs list for about the same. I would guess closer to $500 since everything is there and is in fine shape.

Hope that helps.
