prozach
As I wait for my Form 1 paperwork to go through, I have not yet decided whether to put the factory Cutts on the shorter barrel, or go with a simple ring sight. I'm leaning toward just removing the compensator to make the overall gun as compact as possible, and I'm not sure what it advantages it has for semi-auto fire anyway... For those who have removed the compensator, did you notice any of the following side effects afterwards?Increase in recoilIncrease in loudnessDecrease in accuracyOther changes in performance
Merry Ploughboy
I took the Cutts off the 27A1 barrel and put on the ring sight, mostly to make cleaning easier.. No noticeable negative effects.
anjong-ni
I purchased the brand-new front ringsight from A-O. It is taller and gnarlier than the USGI sight. It is super-glued to the original compensator threads. You really can't tell, and it's never shot loose.....Phil
Bender
I had a ring sight pinned on my 10.5" by PK. I like the m1 look better. No negatives, only positives!
