gijive
festeruk, Well, since Seymore didn't make any Thompsons, just magazines, I'd probably go with the Savage. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
TD.
Hi Fester, The SAVAGE ARMS Corporation manufactured the 1928A1, M1 and M1A1 model Thompsons during World War II. Which model are you referring to? The choice you make will depend on your personal preference - not quality of product. All the SAVAGE Thompsons are quality products. 1928A1 SAVAGE Thompsons have an "S" pre-fix in the serial number. The SEYMOUR Products Company of Seymour, Connecticut manufactured 20 and 30 round box magazines and a 50 round Drum magazine for the Thompson during World War II. SEYMOUR did not produce the Thompson. I suggest you provide the board with the exact markings on the receiver of the Thompson you are looking at. This will enable you to receive accurate information on the Thompson in question. Thanks, Tom
