Thanks For All The Help On Line & Off

Recommended Posts

Just have to say how impressed I have been with how helpful and professional everyone has been one line and in particular by the number very nice e-mails I have received.

Guess goes to show that all the realy nice members of the greater NFA community own Thomsons ... which I had always suspected.

Best Regards

John

P.S. Only Question is why did I not get a TSMG ten to thirty years ago ......

Half dozen would have been fine (1921, 1928 and M1 each for myself and the son).

No one I knew 30 years ago had a Thomson, being in my late 20's everyone had MACs, bolt Uzi guns, Form 1 M16s and one odd Grease gun from a PD - the Thomson's were for the "older guys", with the thousand dollars for a Colt ... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif

While I now that will be sick, in 86 when a M60 was three grand, what did a nice 1921 or 1928 Colt go for back then?

That is a pic of part of Nick Tilotta's collection. Nick owns Western firearms and probably has the largest privately owned collection in the US. He's a great guy to both talk with and deal with. He does have Thompsons for sale from time to time.
