Curtis264
I have an original 1928A1 and was wondering if the 10 shot new drum from Kahr will work with the original Thompson SMG. Any help on this would be appreciated
anjong-ni
"Thompson" 10-round drums are quite inexpensive (example from GB, not mine) Mine fits tightly after some squeezing it in a couple thousand times...Phil https://www.gunbroker.com/item/831356790

anjong-ni
Absolutely. It just didn't "glide in" at first like the WW2 drums or the ones in the gangster movies. The finish is gritty and the contour of the retaining flanges is not perfect. Pictures of West-Hurley 50-rd drum and A-O 10-rd drum...Phil Edited September 15, 2019 by anjong-ni
