Motorcar
San Antonio monthly gun show had one 27A1 West Hurley for sale. The gun was in OK condition but completely stock in every detail for $750. It had some minor scratches on the receiver and lower. The interesting part was the dealer telling an excited buyer all about it. Apparently these West Hurley guns are brand new production and made by the same Dan Wesson of other fame. It will no longer run full auto either...did it ever? He said some other things about that I don't recall because I was too busy trying to pick myself up off the floor. I always learn so much every time I go to a show. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

john
Heck! There was a MG dealer at a local Twin Cities show last year who had a 27 semi on his table. He had a sign on it that read "John Dillinger's personal Tommy-gun"!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif My brother pretended to be an interested fool and the guy gave him a whole line about the gun being used in the St. Valentines day massacre and all kinds of Mob activities!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif When my brother pointed out the long barrel and the West Hurley address, and mentioned that the gangsters had "Colt's" guns the guy pulled the sign off and said "that's the information the seller gave me when I bought the gun.....it must be true"! My bro and I walked away trying hard not to wet ourselves!!! john
