Hello and thanks for taking time to read this.

Per the listing header am looking for the lower frame parts to complete and non-firing replica with other original parts, any leads greatly appreciated!

Thank you

Good luck, very hard to find.  There are parts that show up now and then.  Not very often and when they do, they are not inexpensive.

Thank you sandman, yes, they are rare, odd that you see them as stripped lowers, those controls aren't perishable, do you reckon it was part of some deactivating procedure?

Perhaps, or just someone who thought it would be easier to sell.  Folks did different things at different times.

Numrich had a ton of UD lowers up though the early 90s

What happened ?

INTERNET

by the late  90s guys were cleaning bits out, marking them way up and selling online on the old Subguns & Strum sale boards

Has anyone made magazines that will work in the UD-M42 doesn't seem like it would be too hard to do.  If you just made a "shooter" mag, why not use a Uzi mag and weld the slot from a TSMG on the back.  I cannot do it, but there are many TSMG mags that folks used to beat stuff with that would be a good donor.  At least you could start shooting if that is all you need.

Well.  If that is the going rate for mags, I am rich.  I think I have about two dozen or so.....  Bought them back in the "good old Days" when I could find them, for lot less than this auction. only two of the double mags though.
