StrangeRanger
They really don't come on the market often enough to establish a going rate. FWIW Numrich lists repops at $143 but they're out of stock. IIRC I saw one recently for around $250 w/o the compensator. Last I heard comp prices were in the $75-100 range but that was a while back. chadaz34
also how to identify a ww2 barrel.. cheers
StrangeRanger
Yours is 14 fin "military" barrel not an earlier "commercial" barrel which had 28 fins (The military and commercial designations are for descriptive convenience only and are not necessarily an accurate description of the gun's provenance.) It is however blued rather than parkered so either it has been refinished or it came from a "transitional" gun that was manufactured between April and September of 1942. There are no extant records of military serial numbers so there is no way of determining if it was from a military, police or security gun All of this is in Frank Iannamico's book, of which you have a copy, on pages 23, 47-50 and 199. It's worth a read. As for the price, let your conscience be your guide. I'll, only say that I am fairly certain that it will sell at $300 (not to me, I have a spare). Bridgeport28A1
Some photographs of the barrel in focus might assist in determining if WW2. Any markings or stamps?

ron_brock
Just a reminder, before listing items for sale, read the forum rules. No issues to get ideas on pricing, but before selling talk to board owner Dalbert.
