Bottom marked "B" (BRIDGEPORT) with an "S" ( SAVAGE ) on underneath trunion area. Serial number range is 310XXX Barrel is bright and not bulged. Shell casing has deep indention after firing. Head spacing appears to be fine. Casing is smooth after firing and does not show chamber irregularities. IS NOT MARKED "PROPERTY OF U.S." When I got it the finish looked original but had dark splotches on it. I had it REFINISHED GRAY . Appears to be original wood with nicks and dings here and there. No corrosion, pits or damage. As far as I know this is an all original weapon except the finish. Tight upper and lower fit. Functions flawlessly Pics on Request if you CALL ONLY.
