dalbert
I'm looking for some help from the members of this board in documenting all the West Hurley Auto-Ordnance Thompson catalogs that were ever produced. Some projects I'm currently working on will potentially include the WH catalog information. You might have seen my article on Reising manuals in the July issue of SAR, and I am working on another similar article, and 2 other written projects at the moment. I have 3 different WH catalogs in my personal collection, and I have pictures of 2 others. I know I have seen others, and I'm looking to either purchase them, or obtain high quality, 300dpi images of them from somebody on the board. I'm hoping that this thread proves to be interesting, and informative to others and myself. Here are pictures of the WH catalogs I have: 1975 catalog: http://www.sturmgewehr.com/dalbert/Thompson%20Catalogs/WH_Catalog_1975_Web.jpg Catalog No. 4 (Sometime around 1983??) http://www.sturmgewehr.com/dalbert/Thompson%20Catalogs/WH_Thompson_Catalog_1983_Web.jpg 1987 catalog: http://www.sturmgewehr.com/dalbert/Thompson%20Catalogs/WH_1987_Catalog-Web.jpg Here are pictures of catalogs I do not have: 1981 catalog: http://www.sturmgewehr.com/dalbert/Thompson%20Catalogs/WH_Thompson_Catalog_1981.jpg 1983 catalog: http://www.sturmgewehr.com/dalbert/Thompson%20Catalogs/WH_Thompson_Catalog_1983-2.jpg If you have information regarding other catalogs, or more information about these, please add to the thread, or send me an e-mail. Again, I am interested in purchasing WH catalogs that I do not already have. Thanks! David Albert dalbert@sturmgewehr.com
Murray
David, Check your email. It is surprising what turns up in New Zealand. Regards Murray. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif
dalbert
I received replies from Murray and TD regarding WH catalog information, and I want to thank them for their input. The "1981 Catalog" I pictured in my original post is apparently a catalog that was used between 1976 and 1978. I also believe "Catolog No 4" that I have pictured may have been used between 1981 and 1983. If anyone has further information regarding these catalog dates and numbers, I would be interested in the information. I also found another picture I had archived from the web of a 1995 WH catalog. Here is the picture of it. I do not have it in my collection yet, so if you have one available, please let me know. http://www.sturmgewehr.com/dalbert/Thompson%20Catalogs/WH_1995_Catalog.JPG Thanks! adlake
I have two versions and they seem to be the same but the pages are re-arranged a little bit diffrently. They both look like the 1987 version but mine have on the bottom right side-Vol 10,-11. They come up on ebay alot-adlake

dalbert
adlake, Thanks for the feedback regarding the additional versions of the "1987" catalog. I heard from one other individual that they had one that was similar to the 1987 catalog, but said "11th Edition" on the bottom of the cover. I would like very much to obtain digital pictures of the catalogs, if there is any possibility of doing so. Zamm, Thanks for your offer to scan the images! I will be contacting you via e-mail. I really appreciate it. David Albert dalbert@sturmgewehr.com

dalbert
adlake, I don't need the 11th edition scan anymore, but would still like to get a scan of the 10th ediition that you mentioned. I know they are almost exactly the same, but I want to document each catalog edition. Thanks! David Albert dalbert@sturmgewehr.com

dalbert
adlake, I would be happy to scan it in, and mail it back to you if you are not able to scan it in yourself. Thanks for the offer! An update: I now have images or original copies of the first 4 WH catalogs, the 1983 catalog, and the 1987 catalog. I have an image of the 11th edition, and a low quality image of the 1995 catalog. Some of the catalogs, such as the 10th and 11th are from dates unknown to me as of yet. I am looking for help identifying date ranges for the later, numbered edition catalogs, if anyone can help me out with the information. Also still looking for other WH catalogs from the 1990's... If anyone has any they would like to sell, or provide images of, it will be greatly appreciated. I'm also looking for Kahr Thompson catalogs, if there are any from 1999-2003.
