TD.
The election is over. Gun owners now have a strong Republican President for four more years along with a continuing majority in the Senate and House. How will this affect West Hurley L Drum prices? Ron A
The national election is outstanding - however the "D's" took Montana, the governors race, the supreme court and for the first time in many years the senate. The state went to Bush - go figure!

JimFromFL
QUOTE (21 smoker @ Nov 3 2004, 06:42 PM) I`m proud to say Florida went GWB in a big way!... You guys can thank me by each buying me a 50 round drum. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif
TD.
Jim, There was a time last night if you could have guaranteed Florida, everyone on this Board would have bought you one http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Grey Crow
It would be nice to set back and say we have won. But that would be a lie. Remember that Bush said he "would" sign the AWB if it came across his desk. A new and tougher ban could come down the pipe next week! Certainly out of the two choices we have the better. Best would have been a firearms collector. So if we impeach Bush if he screws up, who do we nominate? PK, Frank or Nick? How about the CEO of Colt, yeah that sounds good a New Colt Tommy in every home! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif Oops, sorry about the soap box. Can't wait for the L's to start flowing! The C's are a risky venture for the brave to invest. It all rests on what the Gov. decides as to where, or how far our freedom flies. Norm
In Tennessee, we went Republican all the way; in State elections and for the Prez. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
mgdoc8307
In North Carolina we now have two Republican senators and John Edwards is demoted back to chasing ambulances!
Jay Baker
In Georgia, we now have two Republican Senators, a Republican Governor, and a majority in the State House and State Senate. First time since Reconstruction that's happened. Downside is that the local sheriff, a Nazi Rhino, won reelection unopposed. My wife knew of my dislike of his policies and when faced with no choice, wrote in Pluto. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif
Merry Ploughboy
Price of pre-ban WH L drums will stay over $250. The Kahr version of Thompson Greed will keep the price of today's new L drums high thus ensuring the pre-ban drums will stay high also. MHO. Bisley45
Illinois can hold it's head between it's legs like normal. Think we need to build a wall around Chiago and dump it like Maryland dumped the district of Colombia. Would change the voter block quick and maybe we'd get Concealed carry and to have our tax stamp toys in state. hope the price of drums drops though. Sgt
I was the odd ball here. I said that the WH drums would stay the same, because I know how seller love to put some kind of antique spin on them, marking them up because of age. After reading your posts, you guys are probably right. I luv America!
John Jr
I put between 225-250 (I think) and they will stay around there. Stop hijacking the mans thread with all the election talk. THIS is Thompson WH L drum talk. (I used to have one and sold it for enough money to buy 3 at todays prices http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif )
Jay Baker
You're right, John Jr. I was answering the last posts, not the subject. I expect the WH drums to hover close to new pricing or less as used drums should. Nick, move my other post to Woooohoooo, please.
96lt1ss
QUOTE Nick and I have been doing a little board maintenance lately. Some of the non related stuff is going to the non related forum. I suggest you check it frequently. Lots of good stuff there. I don't mind OT posts here. Have at it. I just eventually move them, but there is not always a MOVED tag left behind. So if it disappears, no offense. We move them to keep the search engine clean of non Thompson stuff.... WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
LIONHART
I believe once Karh starts cranking these out in good numbers, the prices will drop below $200.00 eventually...Perhaps even by next summer will we see a price reduction.
