Ltcboy
Is there a website or anyplace that you can go to research the serial numbers of the Thompson to find out the year it was made and the correct parts that that model would have had? Bisley45
Don't Know about a web site, get a copy of Frank's Book, American Thunder, it's got acceptance dates in it so you can aproxamate a date. It's got lists of what part should have come with each particular models a lot more useful and interesting stuff. It would be worth it if he asked twice what he did for it. The only knock I can make against the book is it is not avalible in Hard Back. BB
Murray
Gordon Herigstad has developed an amazing book on the serial numbers. full details and history of the 15,000 Colt made Thompson guns and where they are today. You can e-mail him if you want to buy a copy. Regards Murray
