Norm
OK, After having paid for a registered full-auto firing pin for a WH27A1 months ago, I FINNALY went and got my CLEO letter and fingerprint cards done. The paperwork was mailed today. Let's see how long this takes! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif I am sure it will be slow! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif Any guesses on the time it will take? http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/huh.gif Norm
Z3BigDaddy
To funny Norm, I'm going in tomorrow... I have that M11-A1 I bought, and the piece of sheet metal to do... Probably will mail on Wednesday... This is "not" a competition no wagering please ... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
Shooter
"Any guesses on the time it will take?" Well I was just surprised this weekend to find that the 2 form 4's I mailed in late December were both approved and waiting at my dealer!! All my previous form 4's took about 90 days. With luck the wait might not be as long as you think. TJ
Norm
Z3BigDaddy, Have you seen the firing pin yet? Mine looks like it was made with a Dremel tool and a file! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif I keep telling myself that I paid all that money for the right to own a Thompson SMG (variant) legally. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif PK has his work cut out for him on this one! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif
Z3BigDaddy
Whoops deleted when I wanted to edit... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif Anyhow like I said it looks like Jr. High metal shop on crack gone bad. Someone made a ton-o-money on this POS... But hey it is the American way.... I ask my dealer if he thought I was nutZ, and he told me how he had a chance to buy 3 auto sears at 500 bucks each and threw the guy out of his shop.... Now they're flirting with the 10K mark... So it's all relative.... We're just paying blue sky for the ability to buy a 200 dollar stamp... I'll email you with my plans on what I'm doing....
