The1930sRust
Whoa! Careful there, boys. This might get ugly. And, remember, AF has more dictionaries that all the rest of us combined.....;-)

JimFromFL
Kind of useless information???? Just the fact that it even exists within the dictionary says a lot. Remember, if they were to provide all the information, the information just for the Thompson alone would be the size of a dictionary. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif
Arthur Fliegenheimer
John Jr, Your recent heuristic tendencies are indeed impressive! Now that you have invested in an Easy Reader Dictionary perhaps you might look up pudenda. It should be easy to spot, it will have your picture beside it. hawksnest
Arthur: My dictionary says a colt is a young stud. Perhaps John means you will become a stallion.
Bill in VA
Ummm, Arthur, are you sure you know the meaning of "pudenda"? You seem to be saying John Jr. is the plural of female genitalia??? OK, I'm lost now. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

Arthur Fliegenheimer
Bill In V, If nothing else is gained here at least you have removed the layer of dust accumulating on your dictionary to find the word, or did you just rely on the internet? Bill in VA
Don't worry LSU, I got my chest waders on! Let it get deep!!! Arthur, rather presumptuous of you, isn't it, to think that only you have such broad etymological skils. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif No, I didn't need to dust off my lexicon (as if it ever even gets dusty!) nor did I need to rely on the 'net. Contrary to what you may believe, there are a few folks here on the board that do have a manageable grasp of the English language. BTW, at the risk of assumption, I believe you actually meant to call John Jr a "pudendum" (singular) and not a "pudenda" (plural.) In either case, neither word is paritcularly accurate when used to refer to the male genitalia. Oh, and after checking my dictionary, I didn't see any pictures beside either pudendum or pudenda. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
