Bisley45 Posted January 4, 2004 Report Share Posted January 4, 2004 Well my Christmas present arrived, sans magazines which I'm still waiting for. Had to barrow some SA mags from a friend of a friend to run it (1st WH was converted to FA mags when I bought it) but I got to shoot it till the extractor broke. Serial 137XX Anyone know where to get infor to aproximate when the SA's were made. Just like to know. It had a trapdoor butplate, 3/4 forarm hanger and the 70 odd rounds me and two friends got threw it doubled the bluing wear on the inside. The cocking knob wiggles side to side more than I'm used to and goes up and down almost .085" It somtimes locks up when I'm retracting the bolt. The cocking knob right over the rear stud of the piviot plate when this happens. I'm pretty sure the cocking knob is binding on the z shaped firing pin. My other WH is in IA with my brother at the moment and I was hoping someone could measure their WH cocking knob. Specificly these dimentions: the width of the slot thre the bottom of the knob where the firing pin passes the diameter of the center hole the width of the neck where it travels threw the recever.
