Arthur Fliegenheimer
As a life long fan of CB, I lament his passing last week. The Thompson connection concerns Charlie's use of a Colt 1927 TSMG in his movie "Machine Gun Kelly." The movie did employ anachronistic 30 round mags, but I thought the character's use of a 27 model was an interesting piece of film history, compliments of Roger Corman. Guest phill1012k
here here, a great shame of a top actor. They are showing his movies over here to mark his passing, Death Wish was on the other night, top film... ~Phill
Bisley45
Well there goes another good actor to join the Duke and most of the actors I respect. To many movies today rely on special effects rather than good acting. What Hollywood needs is someone who can shoot like Robert stack, stand tall like John Wane, and suport gun rights like Bruce Willis; Tom Hanks just didn't make the cut in Road to Perdition even with the aid of a Thompson, 1911, and a D frame Colt, most likely a Police Positve. Let's hope Mr. Bronson is resting comfortably with all the souls of the demilled Thompsons and other toys the souless beurocrats cut up here on earth.
