The Mason double-action Colts are my favorite type of Colt revolver. This one has survived in remarkable condition considering where it was sent.

Just in case anyone is wondering why this is posted on the Thompson board, the revolver has the "JTT" marking for John Taliaferro Thompson, since he was the Inspector of Pistols for the U.S. Army from 1900 to 1902. This was, of course, prior to his name becoming associated with the submachine gun that bears his name.
