Does anyone have an idea where to start the Redfield rear sight on the M65 for say 50 yards? Id like to have a rough starting point before I go shooting and pull my hair out fiddling with the sight.

Unfortunately the range I go it is fixed at either 50 or 200 yards.

The rear sight is set right in the middle for elevation, I dont know what kind of range that sets me up for?

This is actualy very little help .

You can loosen the two screws and move the plate quite a bit .

The object is to look at the ballistic chart for the round you are using , then sight it in where you want , then set the plate to zero , then adjust your # of minutes from there to the distance you're shooting at ( different from your sight in range ) .
