Junkhunter
Thought you guys would enjoy this. Finally got my transferable Ithaca M3A1, 13 month transfer. It was a Vietnam war trophy documented with letters home and Amnesty registered. It appears to be original finish and has very good finish remaining with a little Red/Brown Patina. It has a GL M3 barrel and Guide Lamp ejection port cover. It came home with no stock and was added later. If anyone has a Ithaca Barrel with really good finish, Ithaca mag and cover I'd like to have them to go with it. TSMGguy
Congratulations! I always wanted one of these. We had them issued to tank crewmen when I was in the US Army. The firing rate is impressively s-l-o-w, the slowest I've ever encountered on any automatic weapon. We had a mixture of M3s and M3A1s. Much preferred the M3A1. JJX
That looks very sharp.I like the GP strap.Does anyone have info/pictures? I wonder how common it was to use a GP strap instead of a carbine sling.
Junkhunter
The guy I bought from said that's how they carried it. He asked to keep it I had no problems with that.
