anjong-ni
This seller has various fixtures that were used by Philadelphia Ordnance to produce receivers in the epoch "Before CNC"... Some interesting details here. I have several P/O receivers that were probably made on these jigs. They are perfect. But production must have been painstakingly slow. Not my stuff, just thought this might be interesting...Phil Added a second picture. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/789485432 Edited October 30, 2018 by anjong-ni

anjong-ni
Thank you Andrew, I missed that previous post. Wonder what year these went from virtually hand-made to production on a soul-less CNC machine?...Phil
benedw60
These fixtures can be used on vertical cnc, after college I went cheap and retrofitted a jhead. Big mistake since I had to do manual tool changes.
reconbob
Those fixtures - which we used for many years - were for use on CNC vertical machiningcenters. For the last 13 years we have been doing all of the work on horizontal machiningcenters for which we needed different fixtures.
