Mark Layton
The 17 Colt Thompsons that I owned were divided up and sold in the divorce. This is the last one that I had kept for myself. Now, I need to sell it, also. If interested, please call for photos and to discuss. Thanks, Mark Layton (801) 361-7300

Vettom
Wow, what a really cool piece if it could only tell us where it had been prior to last owner.
Rimcrew
Make sure you take in the compensator and what appears to be a ringed barrel.
maxfaxdude
Asking price is too high. Lower the price >>>> sell the gun!
ineverlistentoFM
Is the asking price too high because of the cuts in the barrel? Any other reason? Arent 21as the most desirable?
DOGLEG
"IF" a person could find a new 21A barrel and had it installed, What would that do to the value? Are all 21 barrels numbered to match the gun?
mohawk64
It's too high. Condition condition. Condition.
anjong-ni
The "compensator" slots appear well-made by someone with a slitter. Nice and square. How could he know that the slots were vertical, and not all the same width? Looks like the work of an owner that saw...and admired...the new "Cutts-Compensator" in blurry newsprint pictures, but found himself in a place where "sending the gun back to Auto-Ordnance" was not an option... colt21a
Why do we have to debate all Thompsons. we know what it is something with a barrel issue. That is not correct to the era, and never was issued from factory that way. so what does that tell us. a better one. put original barrel on it. and throw in the slotted mess deal in it. And History what history did the I.R.A. slot the Thompsons. did a dealer. or a guy playing airsoft. for sale for over $40 grand...Would many here buy it?does everybody want one?is it like that chopped short barrel 1921ac that was pictured awhile back? Maybe a super rich guy will buy it. and throw it in the pile of his Misc. guns to shoot. So hope it flies to a good home since the owner has decided its time to move it on. RON K.
