It was on this day, 70 years ago in Chicago that the FBI confronted John H. Dillinger outside the Biograph Theater and gunned him down in the streets. But did they kill the correct man? Many say yes, many more, including his own father said no. The dead man looked nothing like John. Wow! Will it ever end.....? Well who knows. But anyway that's your history lesson for the day. RPI Johnny.

http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/dry.gif From the FBI site on Dillinger:

QUOTE
They also seized 3 Thompson submachine guns, 2 Winchester rifles mounted as machine guns, 5 bulletproof vests, and more than $25,000 in cash, part of it from the East Chicago robbery.

What exactly does "Winchester rifles mounted as machine guns" mean????? http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/unsure.gif
