Shot Show Coming To Florida In 2007

Recommended Posts

Ok, so it is a ways off, but I need plenty of time to prepare.

Does anyone know how a simple pee-on like myself may gain legal access to the show?

The last show has the Thompson display and was able to get in, but doubt they are making an appearance again this time.

If you have a C&R license, you will get an invite. I did.

Do i have to register my name and C&R license number with them or did ATF sell our addresses to them like the DMV and then they send invites to everyone? http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif

Jim,

Welcome to my world …. I’ve been asking the same question for years. Last year, this is what I did and it worked. When I registered for the Shot Show in Vegas, I said that my company had something to do with firearms. I used setting up POS systems, networks and computer stuff. I made a web site up and hosted my own e-mail addresses for my company and the shot show people bought it, Got the ticket and everything else that came with the Shot Show …. It was very easy. I’ll be down there in 2007

Maybe you can list me as one of your employees and get me a ticket. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif

JimFromFL,

Sure, I can do that … not a problem. Right now their web site still has the registration for 2006. Once they change it to 2007, I’ll register you and send you the ticket or forward you the registration e-mail, you print that and you’re in the door. If you see them change the registration date drop me an e-mail at randyowens55@hotmail.com or randy.owens@986Innovations.com . In fact, if what, I can send you last years invitations so you see what they look like, just drop me an e-mail.

I have family in Tampa, St. Augustine and Melbourne Beach, so, we’ll hang with them for that week and then off to the show.

Outstanding!!!

I will keep on eye out on their web page too and will shoot you an e-mail when it changes.

Not sure of the Shot Show date, but if it is on the first weekend of the month and you are staying in Melbourne you can catch the Sub-Gun match held in Palm Bay. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif

If anyone knows how to register and obtain admission with a C&R, I would like to do that too so I am on their list.

Do they come with any kind of warranty?  Are replacement parts available?  Certificate of authenticity?  http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif

Warranty's only good on the drums http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif

Does anyone want to organize an Orlando Thompson shoot that weekend?

Although it is almost a year away, it is hard to actually plan, but am actually getting excited as the show and potential shoot is sounding awesome.

If we need an outdoor range let me know and I will check with my club. I should be able to get everyone in. The only down side is that it will be a far drive from the Convention Center.
