GaryKeim
Mines lose and may need to be replaced. Id like to acquire an original G.I. one, if possible... just in case. -Gary Edited September 11, 2019 by GaryKeim
StrangeRanger
The Waffenmeisters re-pop in indistinguishable from the real thing

GaryKeim
Yes, I’m aware of the re-pop’s... just holding out hope for an original, type-1 mount.

JimFromFL
Since the 1921s and 1928s work fine with the forearm grips, aren't the mounts the same between the them and the M1s?

Bridgeport28A1
I dont have one for sale but may we call it by the correct part terminology? A grip mount.
GaryKeim
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forearm_(firearm_component) If vertical, I hold the foregrip. If horizontal, I hold the intersection of the mag and receiver and not the forend/handguard/fore-stock. Bridgeport28A1
Are you looking for the metal grip mount or a horizontal wood grip?
GaryKeim
I've got several leads on the part I desire, but nothing concrete WRT a NOS G.I. part. Edited September 13, 2019 by GaryKeim
Adg105200
They don't come up often. Most of the ones I do have came from overseas so keep your eye out on eBay and GunBroker if you don't turn one up anywhere else. Andrew
TSMGguy
I seem to recall that the width of the grip mount is different for the M1/M1A1 vs. the M1921/28/28A1. Or am I thinking of the Kahr/Numrich made guns? Someone with a better memory please weigh in. Edited September 13, 2019 by TSMGguy
StrangeRanger
My M1 had a 1/2" bar from the arsenal and when it failed, I replaced it with a 1/2" one from Waffenmeisters. I don't remember the width of my former WH 28's bar
cbmott
WH’s are 3/4” unless they came with an original 1/2”
JimFromFL
I have one but its attached to the cut off front end of the Thompson along with the barrel. You would have to purchase them both and unscrew the barrel to get the forearm mount.
