After playing thomson saw with a tree today and my 1927 and 1927 a3 I was cleaning the guns. Noticed the A3 .22 rifle had a lot of build up (lead I suppose) around the inside of the compensator. Took quite a bit of work to get it removed. Something for you A3 guys to keep your eye on.

Dan,.. trust me, any Thompson with a comp will lead up real bad...even my Reising does...I have to scrape very carefully between the slots after every outing.I`m thinking about an ultrasonic cleaner in the future...less intrusive and alot easier to do. Anybody out there have any info about this method of cleaning? TIA,out.
